The military has shown time and time again how little it values women in the military, unless it’s for flag waving purposes. Remember: women in military should expect to get raped? Yeah, that.

The Right loves to wave its flag and bless the troops. But when it comes to women in military, they’re little better than window dressing.

I’m not aware of any comment by any member of the US military to the effect that women in the military should expect to get raped. That comment was made by a civilian with no military background whatsoever.
